Splashdown Tender - Afra Eisma

Dutch artist Afra Eisma’s first monograph, ‘Splashdown Tender’ builds on her immersive practice, offering a vessel filled with doodles, emotions, soft conversations, and friendships. Eisma is known for creating immersive, interactive installations with large-scale tapestries and colourful ceramics. Bright hues and playful approaches are a recurring theme, which the artist employs in her engagement with darker emotions and experiences, in turn creating space for anger, ambiguity, reflection, and more.
