No School Manifesto

The No School movement wants to open up the meaning of learning and fundamentally questions traditional education. moreCuriosity, experimentation, unrestricted thinking, making, and developing are basic elements of all forms of learning and living together. In the current system these values are often overshadowed by rules, legislation, bureaucracy, a unitary approach, and little attention for intrinsic inquisitiveness. No School aims to provide space for flexibility, “wild” thinking, cooperation, and more. This book explores the movement’s key concepts, accompanied by examples of students’ work. An essential reference and inspiration for anyone working in (creative) education.
