For Hair Net Geometry, Jytte Høy uses the ordinary, almost invisible object of the hair net. These finely meshed nets are stretched in a strict grid according to fixed rules and thus relieved of their original function.moreThe resulting geometric forms appear like delicate drawings, combining sensuality and humour and at the same time reminding us of works of concrete art. Hair Net Geometries is collecting these filigree and unusual sculptures for the first time, which will be shown as large wall installations, e.g. at the ISCP in New York.
