Elska #10 - Mumbai, India (2. Edition)
Welcome to the second edition of our first Elska adventure in India, made in the iconic city of Mumbai. Originally our 10th issue, it is back by popular demand and has been remade from scratch by going into our original photo archives and re-selecting and re-editing everything, commissioning new translations and topping up with a fresh new cover.
Inside the new Elska Mumbai youâll get to know a dozen ordinary local Mumbaikars. We shot them in their city streets and in their homes, letting you really get up close and personal. Then, youâll get even closer with the addition of a dozen personal stories, written by each of the men on any topic of their choosing.
Some of the stories youâll read here include: Rehaan Dâs imagined series of coming-out letters to his grandmother; Saif Gâs ode to true love even when such love is doomed due to being of a different caste to his partner; Anzie Vâs tale of a typical night out at a gay party and the dissolution that more and more comes with such evenings; and Faraz Aâs scandalously vivid poem about his love of foreskins.
