‘Elska Reykjavík’ is our sort of flagship edition, our home issue, set in the country that inspired the Elska name (the word ‘elska’ means ‘love’ in Icelandic). moreThis is a place that is regarded as one of the top destinations for LGBTQ travellers, in no small part due to a welcoming society, where everyone has a place and where being different is actually celebrated. It is also an incredibly beautiful country, renowned for its other-worldly landscapes, so we couldn’t resist stretching the boundaries of our usual city theme to do some shoots out in the country, e.g. the black sand beach at Vík, Seljavallalaug pool, and the ‘whale fjord’.
