Since 2020, Pioneer Works Broadcast has thrived as a forum for inspired and radical thinking across the arts and sciences. Now, for the first time, we’re committing Broadcast to paper and ink. And boy, does she look handsome. Including both writing and art, the print issue features contributions from hannah baer, Ed Park, Janna Levin, Joshua Jelly-Schapiro, and more.

Here, the virtual and the physical coalesce. It’s a précis of what we’ve been up to online, and a statement of where Broadcast is heading—as a digital magazine that will also land in your hands, twice a year, as a tangible one.

Pioneer Works Broadcast is a magazine that encourages radical thinking across the arts, sciences, music, and technology. Broadcast reflects the spirit of Pioneer Works and extends beyond the space’s physical walls in Brooklyn through narrative-driven journalism, essays, criticism, ruminations, video, audio, and much more.
