Billings - San Keller
The work âBillingsâ by San Keller was created for the exhibition âEntrepreneurship â Oder die Verheissung des brotlosen GlĂŒcksâ by Fabio Luks. It aims to reveal the financial transactions within the artistic network. Keller achieves this by inviting other artists to make their current invoices available to him in order to provide an insight into the business aspect of creating art. Keller copied the invoices by hand and thus created new works, which were sent to the artists in return.
The artistsâ book, a DIN A4 folder with 64 individual pages, contains all the copied invoices as reprints. The publication is limited to 200 copies and is numbered and signed by the artist in the folder.
