Alvento #37

Some days you ride a bit further than usual. Instead of taking your normal route, you come to a fork in the road and go off in a new direction. Of course, you are not venturing into unknown territory; you more or less know where that road leads, but space and time are experienced quite differently riding a bike than driving a car.
This usually happens on days when you have great legs and feel like rolling the dice; you are confident in your ability and decide to push hard all the way home. Later on, you  get a real buzz looking at your new route on Strava after taking a shower, with that added comment you are not used to seeing on the map for your weekly ride.
Go a bit further.
Well, that’s exactly what we are doing with alvento starting from this issue. It will also be published in English and distributed in all almost all those countries worldwide that are interested in cycling. It may seem like a big step for an independent magazine like ours, and indeed it is, but we set off along this new path, pressing gently on the handlebars to turn the front wheel. Dead easy, without overthinking it, without expecting too much. Trusting our legs and our preparation. And so we decided to go a bit further than usual.
