A recalled dialogue from some time ago: Martino:I will make 100 chairs åbäke:What, the same one 100 times? Martino: No, they will be different. They’ll be actual size 3D sketching, somehow, you know, instead of drawing on a piece of paper. åbäke:Sounds great. Do it in 100 days then. And that's what Martino Gamper did. Over two years he collected chairs from the street, driven by the curiosity of the process of making. There was just one condition (not the perfect chair as one might think): Every new chair had to be unique.
